Simple to use.
Takes up resources. Driver Updater not very good. Worst of all is that WinZip are quick to take your money but after sales and support very poor. I have paid for 12 months but suddenly, WinZip decide to disable the software after 6 month and demand another years subscription. I have communicated with Cleverbridge (They take the money) who referred me to WinZip Help. WinZip have ignored my e-mails.
WinZip is simple to use, takes up a lot of resources, Driver updater is not efficient, it is expensive and WinZip do not offer after sales service. I do not think I will renew
Don't see it yet
I don't know how the application determines what file to delete or keep. After I notice a good number of e-mail in my inbox was gone. Most of them had attachments. System restore did not bring them back. I don't know what else it screwed up. Didn't notice any improvement and some programs seem to be more sluggish than before.
Easy to install
Corrupted my ActiveX which made it impossible for my web compiler to convert files to HTML. Had to do a system restore, Dollars out the window.
Do not use unless you are able to roll your computer back using system restore. This program gets rid of too many needed files.
Because you pay for it it was a quick download.
Very unreliable information gathering when upgrade drivers, caused numerous computer crashes. It listed 18 drivers outdated and it downloaded (time consuming) 18 drivers it deemed as newer versions but during all the 18 driver installs popups would show claiming these versions were "already" installed. Plus other items I will not mention for I think I put more into this message than they did in their software.
Don't Buy This Software "Buyer Beware"
I used to rely on my nephew to fix my PC, but since he moved out of the city I've been left to deal with problems on my ownl
I came across System Utilities Suite a year ago and decided to give it a try because my computer was having error messages pop up every time I turned it on.
Here is what I can say about the product:
-Very simple interface, easy to use.
-Scans your computer for errors and fixes them.
-Improves performance (faster start up, faster opening files)
-Includes many pc tools (over 20 of them) to maintain your PC.
You have to pay for it and it costs $30.
I would definitely give this product a try if you hate doing computer maintenance yourself.
very fast speed.
interface is simple and easy to understand.
many free functions.
good tech support.
none that I can think of.
It does what it is supposed to do, clean your computer and fix errors. My computer runs much better now.
None that I can think of other than the initial good feeling that it was going to do the job. Not.
It doesn't really work. It's too much that does too little really. I've used WinZip for years and have liked it. I really wish I hadn't fallen for the information I received when I last updated my WinZip.
Just awful. And the phone help. They (or the ones I talked too) didn't know the product themselves. They actually tried to sell me more stuff!
appears to do basic basic things.
Does not protect your computer and if you need support? You get to wait an hour or more on the phone then get support that makes outsourcers embarrassed. They do what they can to push you off phone. Email? days for answers. If you are the typical user you will not be happy.
Spent two days and still don't have it working and I am an internet expert for 19 years. If it doesn't work for me and I cant reach a competent tech support person how are you going to get things fixed? Costs way more than its price.
There are none.
I ran the program and selected disk defrag. When the pc attempted to reboot it didn't, it went into windows repair. I contacted their phone support, after an hour on hold, someone aswered. She had a bad pohone connection and very poor english.
She not only could not help, had no interest in helping, and suggested the problem was my fault.
After two days of research, I have found that everything that should be on the "c" drive is now on the "d" drive. All boot information is missing or messed up.
I email their help email twice with no response.
Seems to have a reasonable registry cleaner but I noticed no speed improvements.
Completely destroyed my windows system.
Completely destroyed my windows system during driver update and it had not saved a restore point so I was required to completely rebuild Windows and luckily I am using Carbonite so I didn't lose everything. But I did lose Winzip Utilities which I will not be reinstalling. Only took three weeks to be back to some semblance of normalacy.
