Publisher's description of WinZip Command Line Support Add-On
From WinZip Computing:Free for licensed users of WinZip Pro, this add-on provides a command-line interface that gives you the power of WinZip without the usual WinZip graphical user interface. It allows you to use WinZip directly from the command prompt and from batch (BAT) files and script languages, making it ideal for automating repetitive tasks. An extensive set of command-line options gives you pinpoint control over WinZip's actions. Also, in automated environments, end users do not need to know how to use WinZip.
Version 2.0 offers new PPMd and bzip2 compression methods in the Zip file format. These compression methods provide greater compression for many types of files and reduces the size of your Zip files, saving you data transmission time and valuable disk space. The add-on also supports Windows XP SP2's Attachment Management security feature which adds a security zone to files. New options allow you to extract files from a Zip file with or without security zone information.

Version: WinZip Command Line Support Add-On 2.0
"Excellent program. But I use it along with OverZip Compression Booster 4 add-on"
Pros: Very powerful and convenient tool.
Cons: Compression for Adobe Reader PDF files (PDF Magazines), Flash Plaer SWF files, JAR, or PNG files is not optimal. So I use WinZip along with OverZip Compression Booster 4 add-on to improve compression on such files.
