This application provides a real-time monitoring utility to keep your system in top performance, but its short trial period may not be enough time for novice users to explore all its options.
WinFortress features a skinnable interface that is relatively easy to use. The program allows you to easily delete, disable, or kill a process running on your system with a click of a button. You also can view detailed information regarding specific processes or services online through such popular search engines as Google, Yahoo, and MSN. The graphic displays of file and registry usage histories are nice touches, as is the auto-protect feature for the system registry and files.
Advanced users will appreciate the Sandbox feature to add a program to monitor changes and the Antispy feature to auto-detect spyware--both of which were very effective. The stingy five-day trial leaves little time for novice users, since all of the options may leave them a bit overwhelmed. Nonetheless, users willing to invest in a reliable and efficient monitoring tool will find this application more than adequate.

Cons
On top of making you install Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 to use it, it is not free. Try these free ones instead of paying..Ad-Aware, A-Squared, Spybot, Advanced Spyware Removal, Spyware Begone, Spyware Blaster, Spyware Terminator, Yahoo AntySpyware, and of course Windows Defender,(Microsoft AntySpywae Beta)
