Despite some remote-monitoring features, Win-Spy Pro works best when directly installed. The demo's only limitation is the icon in the system tray. During installation, you create a username and password that let you access the console with Ctrl Shift F12. Reports include a key log, a clickable list of Web sites, time spent online, antispyware actions, and attempts to log into the program. The key log records all keystrokes and captures both sides of an IM conversation. Win-Spy Pro also takes screenshots at periodic intervals, though you can't configure how often it does so. Remote FTP lets you transfer files to and from the host computer. Happily, we didn't manage to disable or uninstall the application without the master password. The program looks promising; watchful parents may benefit most from it.Publisher's description

"Fantastic software, did the job. Tons of features"
Pros: Fantastic software, did the job. Good value for money, tons of features, remote install, remote cam, remote mic ect. and very good price. I had no problems using this product. Did not slow my PC at all

Pros: Good when installed on my computer (catches keylogs, snap shots, ...)
Cons: After paying, I discovered that it's not easy to email file to suspect without him noticing. I had to open suspect's computer, shut down all anti-virus to download. Then suspect kept getting immoral pop-ups. Now, he somehow deleted the file!
Summary: SAVE your MONEY, win-spy is FAKE !

Pros: If you get your "victim" to actually run and allow a trojan well yes it works!
Cons: I DID pay for this product and it used to "work" only to discover one day that my computer was actually infected by winspy! That means someone else could monitor me as I was monitoring others... Total crap, doesn't work with vista.
Summary: It simply doesn't work if the "other" person has more than minimal computer knowledge and then again he should be stupid enough to stop most antivirus programs AND open a port in his router/firewall... but let's get real - who would do that?

"NOT A REMOTE SOFTWARE PRODUCT! DON'T FALL FOR IT"
Pros: It appeared to work well on the computer I manually installed/ran it on.
Cons: Remote install doesn't work; Product doesn't work with VISTA; NO TECH SUPPORT; Remote Uninstaller doesn't even get created by the product; Poorly documented... and did I mention there's NO SUPPORT?
Summary: It advertises the ability to do all these things, even with a remote installation, but it's all crap talk.
