From Alentum Software :WebLog Expert Lite is a Web server log analyzer. It can return specific, precise information and statistics about visitors to your site, including general activity, file access, referring pages, search engines, browsers, operating systems, errors, and more. The program generates HTML-based reports with tables and charts. WebLog Expert Lite supports log files of Apache and IIS servers and can read GZ and ZIP compressed logs.
Version 3.5 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

Version: WebLog Expert Lite 3.5
"A good basic Web log analyzer"
Pros: This is an extremely simple and easy web log analyzer. It offers all the key reports you would need for a basic analysis of web site traffic. The graphs and reports are attractive and easy to read. The program runs very quickly, even on large log files.
Cons: The free version requires that you download all of your log files to a local drive before analyzing. It's not really a huge con given the price.

Version: WebLog Expert Lite 3.5
Pros: It took minutes to set up and you don't need to be an expert programmer, like with AWstats. My web site is hosted with my ISP and although they do have a web log, they have no software to help me anlayse it. This program gave me the information I was looking for and it sure beats a stupid hit counter. I just copy and paste my log file from the ftp: of my domain to my hard drive. Simple stuff.
Cons: This free version doesn't adequately identify the referring source and doesn't let you view stats within a date range other than that of the log file. The browser identification feature does not adequately identify browser types.

"Too limited, even being free."
Pros: There are some nice details of web visits. It's good for offline viewing of statistics.
Cons: Most of the details this program provides in the freeware version can be found using your web host's control panel.
