This program offers all the functionality you'll need for downloading entire sites for offline viewing. In our testing, WebCopier performed well, with memory consumption small enough to let you run it in the background. The most convenient feature is the preview of Web sites. You can see the site map and decide which directories to exclude. Other filters include file types, size, URLs, and number of levels. You can set the program to download only updated files if you need to cut down on traffic or download time. When the Record feature is turned on, all visited pages are added to the current project. The built-in scheduler allows for automatic disconnect and shutdown. The interface is a bit convoluted, though, especially in how you add new sites for download. Home users may well find WebCopier worth its price.
