"LOVE IT!!!"

Pros
- It is so user friendly and easy to handle.
- The worst thing when surfing the net is to find those websites that take to long to load. I certainly don't want my website to be one of those, but I wan t to use spry, lots of image and text to give my customers a cool experience. Website Maestro compresses all the files making the website a lot faster.
- Compressed files are better for SEO.
-With Website Maestro I don't need to tamper with the .htaccess file to deflate my files, which is great as messing up with the .htaccess can be extremelly dangerous to the website.
- You can test it before you buy it!Cons

Pros
If you havef an important website that needs to function well across all browsers, this is a good optimizer. The designer Ton Brand is willing to tweak the software with new updates if your wishes or suggestions are relevant to others. Thank you Ton!
Cons
It took some time to orient myself with the functions but this is not a "con", just something that every new program requires. I'm happy, no complaints.

Get it, it works, Ton the designer is there to help, no regrets, and my website loads faster and is viewable on all browsers.

After hearing much about Web Site Maestro, decided to give it a chance... all I have to say is WOW! It works incredibly well with iWeb and it made my site run so much faster I just could not believe it. I am not an HTML person and my knowledge of site building is minimum... and yet, I felt I was on the driving seat. Customer service is also exceptional - they answered all of my questions expediently and extremely well - best investment I've made thus far! -

Web Site Maestro offers great features to support my use of iWeb on a hosted server. The author of the program has worked _extensively_ with me to get his program working with a challenging server host including at least 4 software revisions in one month. Through email and collaborative testing contacts we have finally gotten WSM to play nice with the FatCow host.
The optimized web files load faster and the WSM program helps me find broken links in my pages, all with a quite friendly user interface. It's too bad more software developers are not as conscientious! -

This is THE essential product for posting iWeb websites to servers! Before using it, my http://passion101.com home page (and all the other pages) would take literally ten seconds or more to fully load and now, less than a second max! 1.8mb iWeb backgrounds were reduced to 120kb! It does what it says it does, does it better than the other products and gives you a free trial. I know I sound like a marketer, but it's really great.
AND, great tech support. Even before I purchased it, Ton gave email responses to my particular questions, usually within an hour or less (note, there is a time difference, at least from Los Angeles). I even received a feature that I needed in particular, that was included in the latest update.
And I love the email encoding feature, which I expect will substantially reduce the SPAM i used to receive from my old website.
I can't say enough good about this product and the company.

This latest upgrade has THE feature we all want. The ability to process and upload the changed files only.
Until now, I had my own system for doing this but now the Maestro does it all for me and a lot quicker and more efficiently.
This application has always been at the top of my "must have" list for website publishing. It looks like its going to stay there for a long, long time! -

Iâ??ve been using Web Site Maestro for quite some time now. I donâ??t remember when I started using it or which revision was current them. Actually, I started with HTML-Optimizer Pro. I was using Fetch at the time and so I didnâ??t go for the full-sized version of the shareware, Web Site Maestro. I just used HTML-Optimizer Pro and did my uploads with Fetch. Iâ??d never used any other FTP client than Fetch and I knew how to use it. Occasionally I still use it for something but, since I switched from HTML-Optimizer Pro to Web Site Maestro, I normally use the FTP feature in Web Site Maestro. Thatâ??s because it figures out for me what to upload and where to put it. I donâ??t have to remember everything that Iâ??ve changed when itâ??s time for an upload. Thatâ??s a big deal because Iâ??m likely to change lots of files in lots of folders and then forget what I changed. Indeed, when I first started using the FTP feature in Web Site Maestro, I thought that there was something wrong with it because it was uploading things that I thought it shouldnâ??t be uploading. I started checking. It turned out that Web Site Maestro was uploading things that Iâ??d changed and forgot to upload. My websites were out-of-date and I didnâ??t even know it. Worse yet, there were lots of obsolete files that Iâ??d replaced with different files that had different names. Even when I remembered to upload the new files, I still forgot to delete the old ones with the different names. Web Site Maestro fixed all of that for me. Not only that, itâ??s easy to switch from one website to the next, and do them one after the other. Since I have lots of websites, thatâ??s handy.
Each user will find his own favorite aspect of Web Site Maestro. Although the â??fix everythingâ?? capability of the FTP feature is nice, my real favorite is the feature that checks for broken links. For me, itâ??s a life-saver. I literally couldnâ??t do some of the things that I do without it. I have several websites with hundreds of links between them. Each website has many levels of folders within folders and the links, even within the same website, go everywhere. When I decide to do some major reorganization of a website, which I do more frequently than is good for me, I can end up with hundreds of broken links. Without Web Site Maestro, finding all of those broken links would be a nightmare. Fixing them would be impossible. Can you imagine scrolling slowly through dozens of files and checking hundreds of links manually, looking for broken ones? My mind would go so blank that Iâ??d probably become a zombie. Web Site Maestro finds them, tells me where they are, and tells me which ones they are. It even checks off-site links. I make changes now, casually, knowing that Web Site Maestro will find the resulting broken links, that Iâ??d never have even dreamed of attempting before Web Site Maestro. -

Web Site Maestro Pro - 5.4.2's creator, Ton Brand, has created a truly wonderful Mac software! I had been a user of earlier versions some time ago but went away from it for a while, but now that Ton has come out with this version 5.4.2 I promise to stay with it for as long as I continue with my Relativity Calculator web site. Oh, because I had used an earlier version of Web Site Maestro Pro 4.x, I needed some help and advice which Ton readily and immediately gave and for which I am enormously grateful. I have been using Web Site Maestro for about a year and can't imaging what I would do without it! If you have more than one website then this is the app. for you.
I am constantly updating and adding web pages and, to me, the uploading feature is well worth the extra cost.
Unlike a lot of software this product is constantly being improved. The support is first class and is way above that provide by most of those over priced commercial applications.
Web Site Maestro is so fast and easy to use that it has paid for itself many times over.
