Wave Corrector Professional is a true WYSIWYG waveform corrector which automatically removes clicks and hiss from vinyl and tape/cassette recordings and divides album files into separate CD track files. Individual click corrections can be auditioned and edited. A graphical display overlays the corrected and uncorrected waveforms to allow easy comparison. Version 3.3 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

Version: Wave Corrector Professional 3.3

"Exellent - Highly recommended"

Pros: I have used this software for many years and updated from very early versions with no extra fee. The program can do all you reasonably can wish when it comes to audio cleaning. My old LPs sounds like new, the cracks and the hiss are gone! I can also choose to keep some "atmosphere" from the vinyl. You have full control of what is done to the original soundfile. Ganymede test and measurement differs also in a very sympatetic way from many other software producers since they seem more interested in good ripping of the vinyl records rather than ripping off the costumers. Please read users' review for earlier versions of WCP.

Cons: It does take some time to learn ...
