Easy to use but dull to look at, Vocabulary Builder lets users quickly create vocabulary activities such as bingo cards, flash cards, and word searches. It includes a spell-check function and an extremely helpful option to create both student sheets and answer keys. You can print quizzes or save them as TXT files or BMP images. You also can revise the standard quiz instructions and the main layout settings, though the evaluation copy does not save most changes. The evaluation has other limits as well, including a watermark on printed quizzes and a restriction on the number of words you can use. In addition, the program's inability to import word lists means you have to type in all the data. Tsk tsk. Teachers are busy people, and Vocabulary Builder needs to make their lives easier before we can recommend it more highly.
