From Sebastien Willemijns :Classical method who has been known and developed to test your Internet speed (download a test file from a Web server) can not be sufficient for high speed because this kind of servers does not hold out the load of a lot of users.
This speed test use best and efficient method to test your download speed with the mirror method who tries to download in same time a lot of big files from best FTP mirror servers you can access. Windows Vista version is available separately at the developers Web site. Version 3.41 includes a new core engine and a lot of repaired bugs.
