From BinaryBiz :VirtualLab rescues lost and missing data from a variety of data-loss scenarios, including loss from formatting, partition damage, virus or directory destruction, and a myriad of other data-loss problems. It even recovers accidentally deleted files from the Recycle Bin. It works on all Windows file systems, including FAT12, FAT16, FAT32, and NTFS. It will rescue data from hard drives, camera cards, ZIP and Jaz disks, floppy disks, and other devices that Windows can assign a drive letter to, even if Windows operating system cannot see the device. It also offers support for deleted e-mail recovery, damaged and quick formatted CD/DVD media, and camera cards.

Cons: Be wary of companies that have no physical address or telephone number. I was promised a refund many months ago and never received it. I e-mail them now and get no response. I am in the process of reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and the NY State Attorney General's office.

Pros: i own a small pc repair shop and VirtualLab is a great product for data recovery. Its very easy to use and has a lot of features that I like. One especially is the ability to select the second fat table on a formatted drive. Other things like the file preview is nice and the ability to turn off and on the $MFT tables. These are things the others just don't offer. Some have expressed that is costs more, but it can be used on as many computers as you want and on as many drives as you want for no extra charge. You only pay for the "quota" as they call it. I think it's a fair model because they have a subscription service to get free quota every month. It's a valuable tool in my aresonal of data recovery products. I own all the others too, and I find myself always using VirtualLab over the others. It just works. Most users probably won't have to spend any more than $79 for the product. How often do you lose data?
Cons: Subscription models takes getting used to. Manual could be better.

"Recovered my formatted drive"
Pros: I accidentally formatted my hard drive, and virtuallab recovered all the data, and a good price. Seemed to find more data than the other two I downloaded, and the quality of the data was most definitely better. Cost me a little more than the other products, but the quantity and quality of the data was definitely worth paying more for.
A great feature is that i can tell choose to use the mft or fat, amazing technology, since a formatted drive will have a new fat or mft, and i dont want to recover the data post format, but instead pre format. by changing a setting in the software i easily told the software to ignore the first fat/mft, and found all the data before the format. Good guarantee, gave me a free use to recover again because i did not read the guide about the settings, but changing it solved my problem. good tech support.
Cons: Price.. but, it got more data, and more was better then the lower priced competitors.

Pros: Wow, worked like a charm! Recovered data that the others did not even see.
I was able to use on multiple computers and even recover Mac volumes, email, dvd/cd, etc.. This one app does so much for me, I am quite happy.

Cons: Would like to recover deleted Mac data. Recovers damaged Mac volumes, but not Mac data.. I guess I'll try the VirtualLab for mac product (binarybiz.com/vlab)
