A database program for organizing movie collections, VideoTrak fails to impress. Our first complaint is with the bland, unwelcoming interface, which brings to mind an Excel spreadsheet. And while a tutorial is included, because the program doesn't have any sample entries, you have to figure out much of the data entry on your own. VideoTrak also occupied more system space than we expected, since it forces you to create and save a database prior to entering titles. The app's only real beneficial aspect is its connection to the Internet Movie Database. That bright spot aside, we found VideoTrak to be more of a burden than a handy application for movie collectors.
