This utility checks the tolerances of your system's video card, but only hard-core video gamers will find this information useful, and we encountered performance issues. Video Card Stability Test has an amateurish and nonintuitive interface with two panes (that seem to have no real purpose), a few buttons, and a vertical progress bar. Clicking Start displayed some details about our monitor and brand and model of video card; performance here seemed slow. Further, that informational display box continued to pop up unexpectedly, without being summoned by us, throughout the testing session. The Benchmark button launched a three-minute process for testing the card's stability, and the vertical bar marks the test's progress. The utility then displayed a box with our card's score and the score of some other name-brand cards suitable for gaming. A link to the utility's Web site offered some information about the scores, but it didn't clearly explain the unit of measurement for the scores, or what they really meant. Gamers may be reassured (or dismayed) by testing their system card, but the validity and verifiability of the ratings leaves too many questions for us to heartily recommend this product, even though it's free.

Version: Video Card Stability Test 1.0.0.3
"Does exactly what it says on the tin"
Pros: Easy and the settings you need a pretty much already set. Proved nothing was really wrong with my graphics card while I was having some computer issues recently.
Cons: There are some more advanced settings and some terminology I didn't understand - though I'm sure it's easily researchable.
