Enables Firefox to recognize SSL servers that have implemented VeriSign, thawte and/or GeoTrust Extended Validation Certificates as currently supported by Microsoft in IE7. Installing this extension brings the same functionality to Firefox.

This add-on turns the address bar green and displays certificate owner and CA issuer information when the browser receives a VeriSign, thawte and/or GeoTrust EV certificate. Additional information is available when the certificate label in the address bar is clicked. When an official Firefox version with EV support is released, VeriSign recommends that users update to that version of the browser. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com.
