It's just a gateway to the publisher's Web site, but this free Firefox extension can help you quickly find and register domain names. It will take you longer to say the descriptively named Vaioweb.com Domain Search for Firefox than it will to install and use it. It should be noted, though, that this isn't added in the typical fashion of Firefox add-ons.
Open the program's ZIP file and check the Readme text file first for installation instructions. The process is simple, requiring you to copy two of the included files into a specific Mozilla folder. In addition to the text instruction, there are three image files that show what to expect when you use the program. Again, it's fairly simple. Vaioweb.com Domain Search for Firefox is used just like a search engine. Just use the search pull-down menu on the browser toolbar and select it, then perform a search for a domain name. All searches lead to the publisher's Web site, where you'll see the results and variations on the term you entered with the price offered by Vaioweb.
