Publisher's description
From VanDyke Software :VShell is a secure access server for Windows 2000/XP/2003, Red Hat, Sun Solaris, HP-UX, Mac OS X, AIX, and FreeBSD, supporting the Secure Shell protocol (SSH2). VShell can be used for secure file transfer, system administration, and network access. VShell supports the Secure Shell File Transfer Protocol (SFTP), which allows secure file transfer applications, such as SecureFX, to connect to VShell and perform secure file transfer operations. System administrators can use any SSH2 client, such as SecureCRT or *nix clients, to access the server through a secure command shell. Using native NT and DOS utilities, you can start/stop services, add/remove users, copy files, and even reboot the machine. VShell provides support for tunneling non-secure TCP/IP data over a secure channel through port forwarding using an appropriate application, such as SecureCRT.
Version 2.6.4 is a maintenance release.

Version: VShell Server 2.6.4
"As a Windows solution, difficult to use"
Pros: Seems to have a ton of options, first appearence is impressive
Cons: Difficult to setup users, very slow, had compatibility problems with client software, not going to use this for Windows.
