  "Fast & Easy High Quality Conversions and Burning!"

  Pros: Here's an impressive little program that should appeal to anyone who needs to make quick work of burning DivX, MPEG or WMV to DVD. Even novice users can burn superb quality DVD's by simply dragging one or more video files to the burn window and clicking a button. Advanced users will appreciate the application's competent variety of configuration options and preference settings. Additionally, the publisher has promised many additional features are on the way! Video conversion and burning speeds (of the registered version) are lightning fast! I have half a dozen "test" files (various video formats) that I keep on my PC for evaluating new conversion and burning software. DivxToDVD handled all of them with ease! Unlike similar applications from the "brand name" publishers, DivxToDVD has a small foot print (only 12mb installed), faster launch time, and a pleasing "lite" feel. Regardless of skill level, anyone who needs to make quick work of converting to video files to DVD will surely appreciate this high-quality, hassle free program! If you enter the coupon code "DISCOUNT" (without the quotes) during checkout you'll get 10% off the regular price.

  Cons: Based upon previous user reviews here at CNET, I get the impression that previous versions of the "trial" package had some value as freeware. If so, be advised that the current trial adds a very prominent watermark and (in some cases) a bit of image distortion to the conversion. Additionally, the conversion and burning speed of the trial is MUCH slower than that of the registered version. I can understand the watermark, but the slower processing speed works against the idea of attracting prospective buyers. At this point, the trial version will allow you a chance to check out the various features and get a feel for how the registered version will run on your computer but that's about it. If you're not at least willing to consider purchasing the software there's really no reason to bother with the free trial. Personally I wasn't expecting something for nothing and the registered version is everything it's cracked up to be so I'm a happy camper.

  "Great tool, but one major (to me) problem"

  Pros: Seems to be fast, fair quality, 1-click tool.

  Cons: I've never had this thing work right for me. Either the audio is out of sync, or the aspect ratio is messed up. I have no doubt that this has potential but, for me, it doesn't work. :(

  "I Can't Believe It's Free!!!!"

  Pros: This is an extremely powerful and extremely easy to use product. I use it constantly to make DVD's from .avi files and they always look perfect. And there is absolutely no adware or spyware!

  Cons: Can't think of one!
