Version: VNC Scan Enterprise Console 2006.7.25.5
"Bought it. NEVER Use it. Klunky Software"
Pros: It does a decent job of handling RDP sessions.
Let's put it this way: If you don't look any further and buy this product, it will do some of what you need, but if you look at the competition, you will be VERY DISAPPOINTED you wasted your money. I know I am.
Cons: If I wanted to have 10 separate VNC session windows all over my Windows desktop, I would just use multiple VNC viewers. Author spends too much time contacting users and potential users to tell them of the "evil" competition. Time would be much better spent making a product that can handle customer needs.
Short list:
Difficult to configure connections
No built in SSH tunneling support
Can only configure a UltraVNC repeater for a Group of computers, not individually (at least not that I see with 10+ IT experience and MCSE, , MCT, MCDBA etc. certifications...
VNC windows all separate with no way to manage them together.
The installation is burried under \program files\Bozteck\.... why not just install it to \program files\VNC Scan or something similar.
