Version: VLC Portable 0.8.6h
Pros: No bull, no ads. I keep it on my jumpdrive with all my different videos, if a friend or family member doesnt have the right player to show a video i just pull it off the jumpdrive. I dont even install it on their computer.

Pros: No installation. Small footprint. Plays all the videos WMP refuses to.
Cons: User interface is a little shaky.
Summary: I have this on all my PCs. It is my goto app for watching videos.
