Publisher's description of User Protector
From Infofac:The majority of computer users suffer or have suffered eye discomfort, irritation, tired vision, muscle, and neck pain. It is recommended that users rest at least 5 minutes for each 30 minutes of activity. The United States Occupational Safety and Health Administration recommends getting away from the computer screen for at least 15 minutes after working one or two hours. Although most of the time we are unable to comply with this simple rule, time flies when we are in front of the computer. Infofac presents its innovative solution that will help you to take those breaks for your health. Reducing the negative effects of computer use, such as stress, and tired eyes increasing your productivity and well-being. You will notice the difference, it requires no configuration, and will allow you to continue on with your work rhythm. It also lets you listen to you favorite music while you take your break. The program might require that you download additional components from Microsoft.
Version 1.1 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

This simple application reminds desk-bound users to take scheduled breaks, but it doesn't lock the keyboard or mouse, so it's up to you to take advantage of the prompts. User Protector's plain, tabbed interface is accessible via a system tray icon. Slider bars make it easy to adjust break intervals and duration. You can create short, frequent breaks as well as longer breaks spread out through the workday. It was a nice treat that we could set the app to play our favorite music during breaks.
Unlike similar programs, User Protector doesn't include exercises you can perform during your time off the PC. Unfortunately for workaholics, the keyboard and mouse aren't locked during breaks, and the Delay and Ignore features make it easy to dismiss the reminders. User Protector doesn't offer the bells and whistles found in other break reminder programs, but folks stuck in front of a monitor will find that it is simple to set up and use.
