Icecream Ebook Reader is a great application that lets you organize, store and read e-books on your computer. It deals with books in common e-book formats (EPUB, FB2, PDF, CBR, CBZ and MOBI) and gives you the best reading experience. Icecream Ebook Reader offer organizing your e-books into libraries and thus optimizing your reading experience. You can view books in Book Shelf or Table View modes and check the recently read books, favorites and all books and also filter them by formats. You can also create custom categories for the most convenient books sorting. Search in the Library for books is supported by this e-book reader. Users can copy, translate and search the selected text of e-books. Also, it's possible to add notes and highlight text of e-books. Search in the notes along with search within the book by text or page number is offered by the program. The annotated and highlighted text can be saved as HTML file. The Library can be exported and imported as well.

The program makes the reading process comfortable due to special features. Don't Waste Your Time

Pros
None that I can find. Can't get it to work due to software bug (Windows 10 Pro)
Cons
Everything. Installed and tried to add a folder with several hundred books. Got the warning about only being able to have 10 books in the free edition's library - no big deal. I deleted the library and went to add a book that I want to read. With zero books in the library, it is still giving the "10 book" error. Tried restarting the program - still no luck.
Summary
I uninstalled it literally 5 minutes after installing it. While I understand and completely agree with the "freemium" strategy, this program is a broken, bugged piece of garbage.
Mediocre at best. Only Allowed 10 books!

Pros
eBook Publisher who does extensive testing. This reader does honor the ncx TOC (Table of Contents) and that's about it. Good for a linear read. You can can choose from 8 fonts and control text and background color and size. Keep in mind you can only install ten books and from my experience earlier I don't think it would let you delete and replace, so it's good for 10 reads.
Cons
This reader, especially the free one is mediocre at best. It's so featureless that I think today's kindergartners can write a better app. in a day. Totally ignores the styles in publiished ebooks with embedded material such as fonts. Few images work. Links do nothing.
Summary
Why mess with this poor excuse of a reader when the reader that comes with Calibre is free without nags and behaves exactly as expected, honoring the css styles and behaving as expected from a programmer's perspective.

Pros
I like being able to control which book files I send to this library - it doesn't just search the PC. It also doesn't demand you buy books from them. Works well with my new Win 10 - I can put its icon on my 'old' desktop as well as with the 'new' store icons.
Cons
It is early days but I think the reading view can be improved yet - eg a choice of fonts - but more importantly the sepia & night settings only change the background - the page is still bright white.
Summary
Many positives - thank you Icecream - but some improvements as above are needed to make it much more comfortable to use at length - especially for we older folk. I'll keep checking back for a new version. Well worth a look!
