This run-of-the-mill freeware toolbar holds all of the typical tools and features, with varying degrees of success.
Useful Stuff 123 Toolbar sports a plain but functional interface that holds all the standard toolbar fare, from the search tool to the pop-up blocker. The search tool uses the Useful Stuff 123 Web site, which wasn't as vigorous as other search engines, returning fewer, or in some cases, no results. The RSS feed reader displays the latest headlines from The Associated Press and Reuters. However, it doesn't let you add your own feeds. You'll also have the option to create a screen name and chat with other Useful Stuff 123 users. Useful Stuff 123 Toolbar throws in a session counter so you can see how long you've been online. It's not a lot to differentiate it from the crowd of toolbars, but it is something you don't find very often. The weather display shows the current temperature for your select location and shows some details when you hover your mouse over its icon.
Nothing here stands out, but everything works in this toolbar. It's freeware, and anyone can install and use it.
