30 days of unlimited music downloads, with great quality, for free. After that $14.95 a month to continue, and the awesome power of Windows Media Player 11 performance I
knew I found the right combo.

READ THE FINE PRINT. Urge says you can burn and rip music. You can, If you want to burn the music you rip. Their music is right protected so even thought you pay for the "unlimited access", you cannot burn
cds, unless you, 1. - ripped it yourself, or 2, - purchase each song again, but not all songs in the Urge library are available, (some, you must purchase whole albums). NONE of the songs can be downloaded in mp3 format, WMA only. For the experts: No work around like burning, then ripping back can get you around THIS right protection, because you can't burn it. AND THAT, IS THE REAL "BURN". Music fans, control your URGE. MTV is now the commercial between the music.

After the hour of downloading almost 1.3 gigs of data (and I have dsl) I tried to download - purchase - songs and the program said it worked perfectly, but the songs were no where to be found on my hard drive. I contacted customer service by e-mail and by phone and after talking to someone in India, being told I would receive a credit and e-mail instructions about how to "fix the problem" and 3 days time I am out a few dollars, who knows what is left over on the hard drive after the uninstall and a bunch of time. And this is not the beta version, I am up to date on everything, I am savvy on computers and really not happy with microsoft.

Aint recomended for old computer because it uses so much cpu you cant even play music with it continuosly stopping (which is called buffering) and playing.

After you spend a couple of hours downloading the "Free" music everything is great. However, at the end of the 14 days al the music stops.
I've emailed their support to find out if I pay the $14.95 per month will I get access to the music I downloaded. It's been two days and I haven't heard from them.

it took forever to install and it wouldn't even download properly. i'll only recommend it if you have plenty of time and a good internet connection

eveyone seems to have problems with the download windows media player 11 beta...i run a lappy(toshiba m60) and it runs perfectly...i also use beta explorer 7 beta and no problems..but i did not down load from this site...go directly to ms site and download from there...i did an no problems...

This media player is great. I love the interface and ease of use once you learn it.One thing-the final release may be able to rival iTunes if MTV starts selling music videos and tv shows...

I hate all you guys who are giving it a bad name-for god's sake-its a beta! you probobly just dont have the right hardware or maybe wmp11 just doesnt like you. there are still some bugs to work out but i like this release alot-even if the MTV thing is useless.

The radio station unlike I-tune, are not free. Hard at first to fine files in of video I have,to play> Direction are really unclear> It seem more, interested in selling you music. I use this when files will play only in WM. Other wise I will just use Winamp or Jetaudio, which, has more controls for video and I-tune for sounds files.
