Keyloggers, which monitor exactly what's being typed on a computer, are perhaps the most dreaded form of spyware. This application offers a nontraditional approach to these spies, preventing or interfering with their operation instead of hunting them down and removing them. However, in our tests, the program performed relatively poorly, circumventing just two of the seven spying programs we intentionally installed on our machine.
The software offers no configuration settings, and can't even be instructed to ignore specific authorized applications. On the whole, we'd advise most computer users to look for a more comprehensive, functional security program.
The only way to protect yourself from keyloggers is to prevent them from doing their treacherous job instead of searching for them on your disks. Despite their variety, all keyloggers use the same mechanism to monitor your keystrokes and text buffers. Blocking this mechanism offers you a brand new level of protection. Unlogger is a solution to block system mechanisms that are exploited by keyloggers.
