From Cedrick Collomb :Ever had such an annoying message given by Windows: "Cannot delete file: Access is denied. There has been a sharing violation. The source or destination file may be in use." or "The file is in use by another program or user. Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use."? Unlocker is the solution. Unlocker is an Explorer extension that allows you with a simple right-click of the mouse on a file or folder to get rid of error message such as error deleting file or folder, cannot delete folder: it is used by another person or program.

Pros: We all at times have parts of programmes that refuse to go away.This beauty allows you to delete them so easily its amazing.Very very helpful.

Pros: Can usually get rid of most files, especially those with locking handles.
If it can't delete file - it will try to delete at next boot, rename or move the file which is a bonus as can often be deleted from somewhere else. Works fine on my XP. Can't delete all - but definitly can get rid of most of the crud!
Cons: Occasionally a file will get the better of it - but in a year of using the app - I've only had 2! But hey, Nobodys perfect :)

"Unlock any file that is in use"
Pros: Its free.
It integrates the unlock function into the right-click context menu.
Can unlock any file that isn't virus related.
Cons: Uninstall requires reboot.

Pros: I had a virus that wasnt picked up by any program untill i found it accedently, i was unable to delete it as it was protected as soon as i found this i downloaded it and straight away it remove the virus its also help me with programs and files i wanted to delete that where in use. sry bout my spelling im in a rush
