Uninstalling troublesome programs can be one of the most exasperating tasks for long-suffering computer owners. This little utility works a little faster than Windows' own application, but it doesn't have the advanced features needed to perform the task more confidently.
Unlike the Windows version, it helps ensure that programs actually delete their own uninstall information, and it can clean up some of the obsolete entries that seem permanently stuck in the Add/Remove program's dialog. But it does not automatically track which files and Registry keys are added or changed during installation of a program. That means the utility will be useless in case an uninstall log is lost, or is inaccurate.
All things considered, we'd recommend that most users find a more powerful uninstall manager, perhaps as part of a broader computer maintenance package.
