Version: Unified Home Edition 5.0
"Surprisingly thorough suite of organizing tools!"
Pros: I'm pretty happy with Unified as a document management software, but it comes with a few features that are especially helpful like versioning, a built in browser and notepad, and email options which let me, well "unify" all my stuff very easily.
Cons: Right now all they offer is for XP but they said they will be coming out with a version for Vista pretty soon. Sometimes I have to drag and drop files in if I'm working with templates, but other than that, it's really efficient.
Summary: Unified comes with a full SQl Server which requires a two step installation which doesn't take very long. It seems geared towards the OCD crowd basically, which is great for me because I take my information seriously. I'd like to see some more con... read more >>
