  "Works great, is free and fast"

  Pros: OK, so the interface is not the prettiest in the world, but at least its simple. Its also fast (I can run it in the background) and managed not only to convert an MP4 file with AAC sound (which most paid for software couldn't), but also synched up the sound properly, and has enough options for bit rates etc. The only limitation is that you can't do batch operations (you have to do videos one at a time). A screen prompts you to buy the software, but I haven't seen any 30 day limitation. The answer to a long search.

  Cons: I haven't seen any really, although I have only tested the mpeg and aac codecs (MP4).

  "First free flv to video converter i've seen!!!"

  Pros: It can convert flv files to movie files that can then be converted to iPod format!!! There is no watermark, and it converts the videos 100%. The only limit on the "trial" version is that you can only convert 1 file at a time, but you can have that much patience can't you.

  Cons: It cannot convert the files directly to iPod format, but you can only expect so much from a free product.

  "THE BEST"

  Pros: -Free

  -Converts FLV movies to WMV (then you can save the wmvs as mpegs so you can burn the movies into dvds

  -Works Wonderfully with DownloadHelper for Firefox, MAKES YOU ACTUALLY PLAY MOVIES IT DOWNLOADS!!!

  -Says it's a 30 day trial, but doesnt keep track

  -I LOVE THIS PROGRAM!!!

  -No Malware

  Cons: -Nag Screen (But That's Ok)

  -Lowers the quality of the video, (You Can Raise it anytime in it's options, give videos better framerate)

  "couldn't find something better"

  Pros: I've reduced the size of a 700MB video file (avi)to only 3MB!! and the quality still remained, by changing the video bit rate.

  amazing and easy to use software, THANKS.

  "Easy and Fast Program"

  Pros: This a very good Smart Program , it Can Converte FLV, Wmv, MPG , Mov and even RMVB with easy and simple tools . it works fine with me and i converted wmv files Very easy without any problem .Remember its Free

  Cons: the program limited to convert one file in time but the paid software will Enable the Batch load Opition.
