Version: Ultra DVD Creator 2.4.0408
"Very limited usefulness, no menus chapters, or project saving"
Pros: Apparently a wide variety of formats are handled, although I didn't actually use many of them, see below.
Cons: Absolutely no authoring options apparent. List the files to combine and then burn to disk. No menus, no chapters, no effects between segments. I combined several clips made by my Kodak still camera as MOVs that took over 30 minutes to combine on my dual core centrino machine. No opportunity to save the compilation. Pgm just quit after finishing the burn. Oh, and the watermark? hyper intrusive three line white overlay that is smack in the middle occupying at least 20 percent of the screen. Will I be sending money for the "privilege" of recompiling my menu-less DVD material? Chance of that somewhere between slim and none.
