Unable to save your slideshow for the future. Photos get out of order when making the DVD. Otherwise a nice little aplication this could be with those items addressed.

If I could have gotten it to work it would have been just what I wanted! Easy to use, audio dubbing pretty easy, arangement of slides OK, etc.
Cons
Had to download twice at 1.5 hours each (256Kbps). Once I finally got it on my hard disc (had to call technical support for correct method) I began to create a slideshow. Everything worked fine initially but then, on the second day there was no video, only music. Called the tech support people again and was told to reboot the computer. Everything was going nicely then except, three hours into the process of adding text to my slides, the windown I was working in started to scroll up and down uncontrollably! I wrote to tech support again about this. After I got their answer I began to follow the instructions but ended up with an error message from Windows saying that one of the critical files had been altered. This caused me to have to reload the operating system (Windows XP Media Edition).. Tech support also asked for me to clear all references to PictureShow 4 from my computers and then to reload the software again. I'm not going to. I want my $50 back! I've lost at least three days on this fiasco and it's just not fun anymore. If you have a lot of time on your hands and want to get intimate with your PC (learning about Windows "Registry Editor" and all you wanted to know about Widows Exporer and Install Shield program then PictureShow 4 is for you.

The program is intuitive and that helps to understand how to use it. It does what it says...until(read the cons)

For starters: ULDEAD will not allow you to use more than 10 photos and if you want to use your home videos you are limited to a ridiculous small amount of your video shots.
The limitations about what you can do with the trial version are extremely harsh renders the program useless.
I have a very high quality video card, monitor and processor and still the image quality after burning a disc (in spite of its tiny trial size) was very...very poor.
When you see the results of your work just before burning it looks acceptable but once you burn it...the image degrades substantially....NOT WORTH IT.

It ended up giving a nice result. The slide shows that is has produced have been well received by everyone.
Cons
Hard to use menus, slow rendering, lots of failed DVD burning attempts. This isn't a super-intuitive program. The options seemed a bit limited and I had a lot of problems burning CDs and DVDs. After spending 30+ minutes rendering (I have a fast PC) it would send back errors during the burning process. I haven't had any other software have burning issues.
