Very adaptable. Choose your skin, your font, and if you choose, change the keyboard shortcuts to your own combination; I chose to change the default to those that match my keyboard, something I never thought I knew how to do.
Once you open the Preference tab, if you hover over an option, it will tell you, for the most part, what that option is, and what it does. So much easier than having to consult the Help menu like you have to in WMP. However, the Help menu is always there if you need it.
The ShoutCAST shortcut confused me a bit as it only shows the Top Playing Internet radio programs are playing at that point in time. I know it may seem obvious, but in order to choose which station you prefer, you need to click on the ShoutCast.com Radio symbol.Cons
If you decide to change your font (size/type) it will show up either larger or smaller than you think it might. I finally found out the right combination when I changed my skin back to the default (Mac).
Summary
I was looking for a substitute to WMP, and I think I have found it. To me, WMP is too constricting. As for the choices in UMPlayer, it's a wide open field. You can access your email, Facebook, My Space, YouTube, Internet Radio, TV, and much more, if you choose. Or, you can use it as a means to perform your basic functions.

Summary
It's pretty much standalone for the most part, plays all formats, has many, many customization features for file playback and has some neat extras. I personally love the Shoutcast and Youtube integration. I'd like to see a visualization for audio playback but that's more personal preference I guess. Overall I'm pretty happy and really looking forward to future releases.

Won't play whole albums. I also got a lot of static when playing a song fom my own library. The equalizer doesn't have any presets.
