For over 20 years, Typing Instructor has helped individuals improve their typing skills. Now, Typing Instructor for Kids 4 delivers the same proven typing methods for children in an entertaining and educational environment. Typing lessons consist of structured touch-typing content, progressive skill-building methods, unique drills and interactive exercises, age-appropriate content, graphic guide hands, standard and split keyboards, and multiple skill levels. These lessons take place as students explore the five exciting regions of Typer Island on their way to the castle. In each region, they learn new keys, experience exciting typing challenges, and play challenging multi-level games. From the Old West region, where they build basic typing speed and accuracy learning the home row keys, to the Under Sea region, where they master the more challenging keys and escape danger playing in the murky depths of Typer Shark Abyss, Typer Island is an exciting place to learn to type. Once kids reach the Castle, they can visit the Lost City where they can play the first ever adventure typing game, Treasure Quest.

"Fun, user-friendly, and she's learning to type!!"
Pros: I was skeptical about this program but it's really great! My granddaughter is enjoying learning and is no longer hunting and pecking. She loves games and is very competitive so this is the perfect program for her. Thanks!
Cons: Can't think of anything.

"Amazing, fun, and educational - my kids are typing!"
Pros: Loads of fun - this program has a cool "Get to the Castle," theme. The typing games are awesome, complete with earning points and mutliple level game challenges ... better than a trip to Boomers.
Cons: What's not to like about it?
Summary: My kids are learnng how to type the correct way, striking the right key with the right finger - no more hunting and pecking. By the time they hit Middle School, they will be going to the head of the class!
