CNET Editors' review
Strangely, Twitter seems to take only a passive interest in its own propagation, leaving third-party developers like Orangatame Software fill the void. The free application TwitterBerry gives BlackBerry owners plenty of room to post tweets and read friends' time lines.
The default screen asks Twitter's hallmark question, "What are you doing?" If you don't feel like answering, you can press the BlackBerry's menu key to peruse your friends' time line or the public time line, sift through direct messages and replies, and search your own history of tweets. TwitterBerry isn't nearly as flashy-looking as Twitter solutions for other cell phone platforms, but it's satisfying, fairly quick to load, and makes for much more comfortable tweeting than Twitter's frequently broken mobile Web site.

Cons

Summary
Just what I wanted.

"Useful but Not Spectacular"
Version: TwitterBerry 0.8
Pros
Allows posts, pretty simple and streamline.
Cons
Kinda clunky and bland. Network message failures are persistent. No downloading feature via a computer (on thru your blackberry)
Summary
It's a decent app to use for the blackberry, especially if you don't have twitter direct SMS capability (like I had deleted an old account with my phone number way back when). It's servicable, but do expect it to fail. I will suggest for those with blackberry's to get a data plan. Not having one with any SMS device does not make any sense, and Twitterberry does use SMS and data plan resources.
P.S. Those who are having trouble downloading the app, use your phone and not the PC/laptop/Mac. -
"Easy to use, exactly what I need"
Version: TwitterBerry 0.8
Pros
Large screen for tweeting, nice interface for looking at timelines, accurate representation of tweet history when twitter deletes tweets without warning, like automatic shortening of URLs, good menu options
Cons
Links aren't live, can't access profiles, had to dig through the blackberry's advanced settings a few times to get notifications set correctly, not much documentation, spellcheck would be nice?
Summary
This fulfilled my need for a twitter client on blackberry. All tweets submitted through twitterberry made it onto the site with equal frequency as ones submitted through the web (which is not 100%, either way, b/c of twitter's database problems). Speed was decent, especially on slow Tmobile. It was easy to use and reliable, though not very eye-catcing.

"Invalid username/password error persists"
Version: TwitterBerry 0.8
Pros
Those that can log in like it but persistent log in problems continue
Cons
The invalid username/password error persists despite reinstall, retype information and removing the battery. Google it to see the hundreds with this problem unresolved.
Summary
Zero support and lack or recognition of the prevalent invalid username/password error persisting into version .8
