Fongo - talk and text freely APK for Android

Fongo is a free communication application designed for Canadians, allowing users to make unlimited calls and send texts across the country. With a unique feature that enables users to select their own local Canadian phone number, Fongo facilitates seamless connectivity without the burden of traditional mobile plans. The application supports free incoming calls and texts, making it particularly useful for individuals traveling abroad who wish to avoid international charges.

Utilizing Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technology, Fongo ensures that calls and messages are transmitted over the internet, eliminating long-distance fees within Canada. Essential features such as voicemail, call display, and call forwarding enhance the user experience. However, users should be aware that internet connectivity is crucial for call quality, and charges apply for international calls to non-Fongo numbers, despite the availability of optional in-app purchases for credits.
