TuneupMyMac is a high-performance clean up and optimization tool that effectively helps keep your Mac running fast and smooth. It includes numerous features like cleaning caches and logs, universal binaries slimming, removal of unneeded languages, duplicate files removal, shredder and uninstaller, Internet Privacy and Large files scanning in one powerful and easy to use interface. TuneupMyMac home screen is divided into two sections, i.e. the right panel and the left panel. There are none. They (whoever & wherever "they" are) want your money first and foremost.
Cons
It is apparent this "software" company wants your money first and last with no consideration for their prospective clients. There is no version of the program that is free...very misleading. The "retail cost" is $59...but wait!!, as a U.S. customer you get a $20 discount and it gets even better if you attempt to exit the program.....you can get the same program that was $39 a couple of keystrokes ago for $19.95.
Summary
WHY DOES CNET ALLOW THESE KINDS OF COMPANIES TO ADVERTISE ON THEIR SITE? TO PAY THE BILLS, I PRESUME.

I purchased TuneupMyMac. Turns out, it only works for Windows (or so explained the customer "service" rep).
Given convoluted explanation of what I had to do to get $40 refunded. Asked to speak with a manager. Got hung up on.
Called back. Told that I was speaking with a supervisor, but only a manager could help me. And again, that the software with "Mac" in the title only worked for Windows. And that thee was no "manager" available to help me.
This is a FRAUDULENT company selling FRAUDULENT software. I will be contacting my credit card company to reverse the charges.Summary
