"~ All In One Software With Actual Results."
Version: TuneUp Utilities 2012 12.0.3000.140
Pros
* Love the ease of use, pretty much set it up and you can forget it.
* Love the Styler, get those ugly shortcut arrows off my icons!
* Registry cleaner has never messed my computer up, unlike System Mechanic.
* Free Trial, let it expire and get 25% off purchase =)Cons
* I am a little OCD about system services running in the background and I do have to go in and stop them from automatically running... however, they are meant to keep the system going good I just like to do it all manually myself.
* The UI is a little confusing at first over other version.
* The styler has not been updated in a few years. (logon screens and such.)Summary
I have been a user since the 2008 version and I love 2012. It can get annoying if you do not customize the way you want to be notified (for me, I dont!) but that is no biggie.
I love TRIALPAY and you can get this program free from them.
OVERALL, I have noticed my Windows 7 64bit version has improved every time I use this software. I also like how it doesn't give you false registry errors to make it look like it is doing something like some out there!
If you do not mind paying, or searching how to get it free this is a good choice. If you are all about the free stuff system mechanic free version is not a bad choice. -
"Unimpressed with version 2011"
Version: TuneUp Utilities 2012 12.0.3000.140
Pros
I have been using the 2011 version for the past year and I can say that it is automated and relatively easy to use.
Cons
The "cons" of the 2011 version go directly to the reason why I do not have the 2012 version to review. When I first purchased this program, it was with the expectation that I would see a noticeable difference in my PC's performance. Unfortunately, even after a year of running "TuneUp Utilities 2011", my computer is still rather sluggish. As a matter of fact, about the only thing that this program does flawlessly is to constantly remind me that it is time for me to purchase the upgrade to version 2012... this it does WONDERFULLY!!
So, if you are looking for a program that flawlessly reminds you to purchase its upgrade, then I highly recommend this product!
However, I think that I will pass on this one for now and hold out for a version that makes me go, "WOW!". -
"Easy to use software with great results"
Version: TuneUp Utilities 2012 12.0.3000.140
Pros
Faster load speeds, easy to use, over 30+ features, options to customize hundreds of Windows® settings and more. Great price. Automatic maintenance and power modes are great!
Cons
Overall, I this program is great although I have heard a few people mention the difference between 2011 and 2012 is not worth the cost of the upgrade.
