Pros
Gets the majority of music information you are looking for. Very few "unknown" coming back from searches. Easy to organize your "cleans" and puts music files in appropriate folders it makes automatically.
Cons
Sometimes mislabels music files it finds.
Summary
Forgot to mention. Had to contact support for a usage problem. They responded quickly and courteously. Got the problem solved quickly for me.

I like the faint sound level meter that shows it is listening to the song.Cons
It doesn't recognize a lot of less know songs. Examples - it recognized the Cake song "Long Legs/Short Jacket" (the theme from Chuck). But it didn't recognize Jack White's song "Love Interruption" (former lead singer of the White Stripes), or any song by Polica (whose song "Amongster" was featured on the TV Show "Person of Interest").
It comes preset to listen to the Microphone on the PC. If you are wanting to have it listen to something playing on your PC you have to tell it to listen to your sound card. It is an easy drop down click, but they don't ask how you want it set up, and I have seen several posters give it a bad review, probably because they didn't look for this setting.Summary
It's free and easy, if you don't know the name of a song it gives you a decent shot at finding it. But they need a much bigger database to be a good tool for finding something obscure or new.

Did not recognize one song played out of 5 tracks I didn't think were that obscure (Jonatha Brookes "push", John Martyn "Head And Heart, Joan Beaz....? and 2 other J's. I had just spent hours fixing lost tags and then all the data got deleted so I thought I would try this = bummed

Easy to install, user friendly. It helped me finding songs that I didn't know. Also, it can find some soundtracks and national epics. It tranformed me to a site to download ringtones!!

doesn't work with less popular songs, which is usually what you want to use it for. also fails with most of my music because they're not in english

I tried it on songs i knew and those i didn't then verified they were correct by listening to snippets online. When it knew the song, about 95% of the time, it was spot on. I was so impressed that i had to imediately post a review.
Cons
The program itself locked up once or twice but that might have been my impatience when it took a while and tried to close it while it was searching.

I haven't had problem with it. May possibly be the best free ware I've downloaded. thanks for making it free. AWESOME!!

I had been looking for something to ID a bunch of 50's to 70's music my uncle gave to me. This did a great job.....
Cons
A few times it would give incorrect artist, but the correct title. I would then use Amazon to verify the correct artist. And usually there were more than one who had recorded it.
Summary
Simple to use, does a excellent job....so glad I found it.
