From Kenta Cho :In this unique side-scrolling shooter, you control your ship and destroy enemies, all the while catching the enemy's broken pieces. Enemy pieces can be collected by your ship and used to counterattack enemies. You can earn a bonus score by keeping many pieces stuck at once. Stuck pieces are destroyed when they touch a enemy's bullet. A "slow" key lets you decrease the ship's speed and fix its direction. If you stick many pieces, enemies become more offensive and tend to fire more bullets.

Version: Tumiki Fighters 0.2
Pros: This game has colorful polygon-based graphics, in which everything looks like it's made of toy building blocks. The action is fast, the animation is smooth, and it has one truly innovative feature: Pieces of enemy ships can be broken off and attached to your own ship, thus granting you extra firepower and protection. There is seemingly no limit to how many extra pieces your ship can carry, so it's possible to turn your little fighter into a huge honking "boss ship"! Overall, this is some really great freeware.
Cons: Well, ultimately it's just a side-scrolling shooter, which of course gets repetitive after a while. But hey, it's free!
