This free program lets you convert YouTube videos into playable file formats. Though you're limited to downloading videos from only the popular video sharing Web site, it performed very well for us when we put it to the test.
TubeTilla opens with a very professionally designed user interface that is intuitive. When you visit YouTube, the program doesn't automatically pull the video URLs. Instead, you have to manually copy and paste the video URL in the proper field. But as soon as you do, the video's name appears in the Save As field. From there, all you have to do is select the file format from a row of colorful command buttons. We opted to first convert our YouTube video file to the WMV format. The program quickly converted our file and the file successfully played using Windows Media Player. For our second run, we opted to convert the video file to an MP3 format. Again, the program quickly converted the file and we were able to play it on our iPod. The program's other menu links took us to an online FLV player and a site for finding music downloads.
In terms of help, the program's Support page was unavailable, but the Tutorials link took us to the publisher's Web site where we were able to watch several video tutorials. If you're looking for a quick and easy way to convert your favorite YouTube videos into playable file formats, we recommend TubeTilla.

Pros: Nothing. I wasn't allowed to use it.
Cons: It is listed as free software but as soon as I had downloaded it I was told that the "free trial" had expired and I was invited to buy the "Pro" version.
cnet should remove these conmen before they damage its reputation.Summary:
I should have read the other reviews before even bothering to download it.

Pros: worked great the first time
Cons: told me the next day that my free trial had expired. what free trial?
Summary: be careful of the old bait and switch. It says its free, but only works for one day and is very limited in that day. otherwise it worked great

"The free version expires immediately."
Pros: It might have been a good program but I can't even see the initial screen--it immediately pops up a message saying that the free version has expired and I should upgrade to the pro version. I'm not spending good money for bad programming.
Cons: So far, nothing I've seen is good, only an expiration notice

"SCAM DO NOT PURCHASE OR DOWNLOAD"
Pros: None, scam.
Cons: Once was a great program but there's no longer any support. If you don't believe me go to the website and look under 'support forum'. I have both the free and paid versions and separate computers and neither is available.

Pros: Mp3 Convert, Easy to use and now i have all my favourite songs and some tunes where i can't find the mp3.
Cons: Not much, but 1 download at a time.. pretty reasonable.. for a good product like this and it's free.
Summary: Get this sweet product.. it's wroth it. but if you hate waiting as you can only download 1 at a time.. you can always get pro.
