Truphone can save users money on iPhone calls by routing phone calls via Wi-Fi. Also, VoIP over Wi-Fi can provide phone calls in areas with poor cellular reception. Truphone is free to download and there are no monthly charges. Call to cell phones in the US, Canada, and China cost 6 cents or 3 pence per minute from anywhere in the world. Calls to 40 countries (including the UK, Australia, Brazil, and most of Europe) are the 6 cents or 3 pence per minute to landlines and 30 cents or 15 pence per minute to mobile phones.
