TreeSize Free tells you where precious disk space has gone to. It can be started from the context menu of a folder or drive and shows you the size of this folder, including its subfolders. Each folder can be expanded in Explorer-like style to see the size of its subfolders. Scanning is done in a thread, so you can already see results while TreeSize is working.
The results can be printed in a report. Support for Unicode and NTFS compression rates. Version 2.1.0.82 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

"Simple and effective"

Pros
I disagree with the editor in giving 3 stars for TreeSize. Its simply useful for file management.
If you want to print individual files, try Directory File Listing Utility for Microsoft Excel 1.7, also available in Download.com
Cons
Does not want to "treesize" folders in a network. I think thats crap. I know it can but it wouldn't.

"Quickly Find the Hard Drive Hog"

Pros
Its lightweight, fast, and easy to use. I have a 40 GB hard drive in my laptop. Since I'm an IT student, we often work with files in excess of 5 GB for school projects. When my hard drive was full this program quickly let me know exactly where the stray hidden files were hiding. It also let me see what programs were taking up space. I literally went from less than 400 MB to 10 GB of free space. Great tool.

It's the tool you've probably been looking for, especially if you went to defrag and saw that most of your disk space is practically gone. I downloaded this program and watched it show me in less than seconds. No more hunting around my computer, clicking on each folder's properties just to find out which one is using the most disk space. Easy, straightforward.
