Aimed at computer users who are always in search of better navigation tools, TrayLink is designed as a faster, better version of the Windows Start menu. Whether it completely succeeds is to some extent a matter of personal preference, but we did find it faster to add bookmarks or items from the Start menu or Desktop than if we were using Windows Explorer. Organizing shortcuts also appeared to take considerably less time. The download takes very little disk space, but can eat up a noticeable chunk of memory while operating. Many of its functions can also be performed by free toolbars, but users who value every second of time and every inch of desktop space may nevertheless want to give this utility a try.
