Serious DJs, look no further--Traktor DJ Studio busts out a power-packed array of tools surpassing the abilities of traditional DJ equipment. This versatile application gives you everything you need for live and in-studio mixing and remixing, complete with automatic beat synchronization, one-touch looping, a solid track-search function, interactive graphic waveform displays, and smooth crossfades at the click of a button. Best of all, Traktor DJ Studio has an intuitive interface, closely resembling a real-world mixing board, that makes it easy to set and save multiple loops and cue points in a track. Our main complaint is some of the cooler features only run (or run smoothly) on high-end machines, and you might not want to risk taking your nice laptop to a gig. Its price and performance mark Traktor DJ Studio for professional use.

Present your own DJ style live on stage and record the mix to disk. Interactive wave displays, superb EQs, one touch loops, automatic beat matching, and scratch presets are the secrets of Tractor DJ--the perfect fun machine. The application's features include an MP3, WAV, and audio-CD player with two decks and professional sound quality, as well as fully automated tempo and beat matching, beat-sync display, pitch control, and fast-seek mode. There is a crossfader for manual mixing and an autofade function with adjustable time, punch-in, and boost buttons. The program also features a waveform display for visual control, for stopping, locating, and scratching the music track. Tempo-synced loops can be set on the fly, moving and resizing during playback.

For the first time ever, Traktor DJ Studio is fully compatible with FinalScratch 2, allowing you to control everything with your turntables. Whether you're using Traktor independently or in combination with vinyl, Traktor DJ Studio 2.6 has all the angles covered. Version 2.6 supports all the standard audio formats. The live inputs allow an MC or an external source to be patched in and recorded. Stream the mix into the Internet in real time. MIDI and keyboard shortcuts allow more than 600 functions to be controlled remotely. Mixing digital tracks has never been as versatile.
