"I would never purchase or use this software again."
Version: Tourweaver Professional 2
Pros
It makes virtual tours.
Cons
The tours output are unstable. The worst part is the licensing scheme this company exploits users with.
Summary
I would never suggest that anyone purchase software from this company after my experience. Even after paying for an upgrade, I still couldn't get the full professional version to work. The standard version basically advertises to push viewers to them as the source that created the tour instead of the purchaser. The only version that does not brand it with their name, logo and website is the extremely expensive professional version. Their activation process requires a nasty and time consuming method of looking up codes, applying for activations, inputing, and the like. If your computer locked up and you lost your email, you could loose your entire investment like I did. They seem to think that windows machines never lock up or need to be reinstalled. They think you should be forced to 'unregister' your software on a working system before you can reinstall it or move it to another. This excessive paranoia absolutely kills the customer experience through much hardship. Their dababase is not accurate, so you can't rely on them to have any proof that you actually purchased. They ousourced through the purchase and delivery process through Element 5, a european company that takes payments and pushes downloads. If element 5 makes a mistake, easy pano will not address it. Instead, they kill the customer. I had proof of credit card payments through a reseller that placed the order with element 5, as well as actual invoices, but Easy Pano still would not honor. I spent $500 that they essentially stole by taking my money and not allowing me to use it after downloading. Again, I would never, ever work with this provider ever again. I wish I had not in the first place.
Easypano recognized the error and helped out with some problems. Their customer service has improved significantly lately, so I'd give them 3.5 stars if I was allowed to change my review after their assistance.
