Do not trust these guys. They are real crooks. The advertisement of this software is typical bate and switch. It is not free, after you install it and run diagnostics, they lure you into purchasing it by saying that the free version only, takes care of 15 issues that are supposedly found on your PC. I read several apparently phony reviews (like this one) and was stupid enough to purchase it. After the full version was executed, it then prompts you to buy a "complete" package for additional $49.95. I had a simple problem with Microsoft Explorer search that was not fixed by this software, so I called their tech support and the guy with heavy Indian accent told me that he can fix my problem, but I need to allow him to access my computer remotely. Stupidly enough, I did. Then he has shown me a bunch of errors in the event viewer and he told me that my PC is in very dangerous shape, but he can fix all of it, however for the additional charge. I would have to purchase either an annual plan for $199.99 or a one-time plan for $99.99 for him to be able to fix my computer. At this point I have put him on hold and asked our office local desktop support person if I did the right thing. Lucky me - this time - he told me to hang up my conversation with FixMyPC and immediately terminate the remote connection. Our local tech support person then has opened the Even Viewer to look at what errors i have logged, and what a mastery, there were none. The log the Indian guy from FixMyPc was showing me was completely phony. It shows how far these crooks are willing to go in order to rip you off.
