This basic application allows you to create timelines of past, present, and future events, though that's about all it can do. Timeline Maker sports a straightforward, easy-to-understand interface, prompting you to enter the first event in the series as soon as you fire up the software. When adding an entry, you specify categories, notes, and start and end dates. Timeline Maker comes with two view options: a timeline chart and a chronological report. The former allows for the most creativity, letting you insert images and adjust aspects of the font. Printing and publishing (as HTML or graphic documents) capabilities are disabled in this trial, though you can at least save your creation in a proprietary format. This application clearly isn't a must-have for everyday users, but project managers and other folks who need to track events might find it useful.
