From TheOne Software :Syslog Manager is a Syslog server. It can receive, log, display and forward Syslog messages from all Syslog enabled device such as router, firewall, or switch. It can receive TCP and UDP Syslog messages and send out alert message by e-mail, SMS, SMS-HTTP, Syslog, SNMP, and Pager. Syslog Manager Pro can store Syslog messages into MySQL database. It can support filtering based on customer's requirements, charting and scheduling. Version 3.7 has bugs fixed and features enhanced.

Version: TheOne SysLog Manager Pro 3.7
"Tried lite, looked ok but needs mySQL to work"
Pros: I used the LITE version, theres not much difference (alerts mainly) however it seems easy to use, did what it was supposed to, there was one major issue though (read below)
Cons: It needs mySQL to work, there is no way of getting this software to store the data in text files, more than that, it will not load until you point it to a mySQL database. The saftware i tested (the LITE version) was VERY nice, couldnt use this one.
Summary: Looks nice, however will not run alone, need an install of mySQL which can be very system hungry, also means you have a backup nightmare with databases, i didnt like it, going to look for another bit of software which is a shame as this one looked g... read more >>
