From Ringtone Maker :The Ringtone Maker software is just that: an unlimited, unrestricted editor to create a 5-30 sec customized ringtone from MP3, WMA, WAV, Audio CD and OGG files. You select the music file, edit it, and then download it to your phone. There is a graph of the song to help you choose the right segment you want. The Ringtone Maker works in the US plus more than 65 countries and with most mobile phones that support real music ringtones and have Internet service through its carrier (e.g. Nokia, Motorola, SonyEricsson, Samsung, Siemens, Sanyo, Panasonic, LG, NEC, Sharp).

Version: The Ringtone Maker 2.1
"easy to use - good software!"
Pros: i was playing around with this application looking for one from the many that are offered now days for customized ringtones and i was very impressed.
i did actually buy both a ringtone and then the license because i wanted to 'test' it out beyond just playing with it.
it honestly is very simple and does what i want which is allow me to edit the portion of a song from my music file database on my computer for the exact segment i want for a ringtone.
it was fast and easy and the ringtone link was delivered directly to my phone. so all in all it was fast and "automatic".
Cons: i found that the zoom did not work on one shorter sound file, but i could still choose which ever section i wanted as the ringtone.

Version: The Ringtone Maker 2.1
"Really cool and easy. Recommend it"
Pros: I got a new phone for Easter and wanted to assign each of my friends contact details on my phone a different ringtone. I just bought this software after looking at a few other ones since it was really easy to use in the demo/"free test" section and was cheaper than most other similar ones.
The ringtone link is sent to your phone and it really is unlimited, so far (I have made 12 so far) and it really is quick and easy.
I recommend this for its simplicity and ease of use and because I can make any ringtone I want :)
Cons: None so far.

Version: The Ringtone Maker 2.1
"Easy and stright forward ringtone application"
Pros: it is an easy appplication to use. very simple, but will allow you to make unlimited (as far as i have experienced) ringtones, and not just to one number. i made some for my own phone but i was able to change the phone number where the link was sent to download the ringtone that i customised and was able to send the ringtone to a friend.
i like it its simplicity and recommend it.

"It does exactly what I wanted"
Pros: Very easy to use and pretty damn cheap. I can make tones of ringtones from my very own music files and the fact that it's not locked to one phone number it's great.

"Could not get the test files to work"
Pros: Was Not able to test it to review positively. Make sure prior to downloading that you go to their main page at www dot theringtonemaker.com/compatibility.php?aff=1 and check your phones compatability before you waste your time downloading and installing the software.
