CNET Editors' review
This application claims to offer thousands of free recipes in an easy-to-search database, but in reality it only lets users view recipes from the snack category, and the publisher requires users to purchase recipes for the remaining categories. This application features a cartoon-style interface with cumbersome navigation due to the lack of a recipe list. To find recipes, users must use the first, last, next, and previous buttons or the search function; however, users will find it time-consuming to search through each recipe. The Recipe Locker does offer bookmark, print, and e-mail options, but the program displayed an error message when we attempted to use the e-mail feature. Also during use, an error regarding MCI initialization appeared but didn't seem to affect how the program ran. Though it's not really freeware, recipe enthusiasts may find some of the snack recipes interesting.Publisher's Description

"It's basically a giant weblink!"
Version: The Recipe Locker 1
Pros
What do I like about it - there is nothing to like about it!
Cons
Clicking on anything takes you to the website where you can down load recipes (I assume at cost)
No good if you are looking for a recipe indexing system!
