Graphical user interface which allows you to inspect, edit, change, and create configuration files such as: hosts.allow, hosts.deny, motd, shells, ftp users, ftpchroot, ftpwelcome crontab, (and others!). TMA enables/disables services in the inetd.conf file and databases your updates in an encrypted format. TMA allow you to enable the Mac OS X built-in firewall and manage rules through a powerful interface. Firewall rule ordering can be changed easily by using up and down arrows. Didn't like your configuration changes? go back, and back, and back to a previous versions. TMA monitors and alerts you to unexpected changes in configuration files.
What's new in this version:
- Note: This is an interim release to provide Mac OS X 10.2 Jaguar compatibility (It is also compable with Mac OS X 10.1). A major release is in the works and due shortly. The major update will require Mac OS X 10.2.
- If you are running a preview or previous release of TMA and copy the release TMA over and replace the old copy, you will lose your revision history and ip filters database. The History and Filters databases lives inside the TMA bundle.
